Meet your hotel and drive 2 hours to Qinghai Lake(Tib: མཚོ་སྔོན་པོ། Chin:་Qing Hai Hu) via Gasar grassland without going on the highway. Get a great panoramic view from Shala Pass . Enjoy your picnic at the pass while you are enjoying the view of the mountains. then continue trip to Xining through Tsa-nga gorge (Tib: ཚལ་རྔ་འགག Chin: Long Yang Xia).
